Holi-D Blue interdisciplinary study day

Cooperate to train, professionalize and engage in socio-ecological changes in the maritime sector

This study day concludes the collaborative action research and training project HOLI-D Blue (2021-2024)¹, jointly funded by ENSTA Bretagne and the ISBlue university research school (EUR) and dedicated to supporting socio-ecological changes in the maritime sector through training and professionalization of students who will one day work in seafaring and coastal professions.

This study day is organized around three themes:

1. Cooperation opportunities for educational transformation (interdisciplinary and inter-institutional, etc.);
2. Cooperation opportunities within a professionalization process (cooperation between academia and business/maritime organizations)
3. Cooperation and engagement (cooperation with students). Jointly, this approach to professionalizing students in terms of socio-ecological changes studies the conditions for an appealing maritime sector on the one hand and the challenges involved in attracting more women to this professional field on the other (see Call for papers).
