Free, responsible, open to the world, and capable of critical thinking and adapting, the engineers trained at ENSTA Bretagne take part in the debate within society and use their high level of scientific expertise & technology to serve planetary issues.
Our contribution
We train general engineers, both civil and military, to a highly qualified level with specialized and unique expertise.
We develop ambitious research programs for industrial, civil and military applications. The fields of excellence are based on engineering and innovation in defense sectors such as maritime, transport and digital.
This high level of scientific and technological expertise, backed by a strong capacity for innovation, allows us to respond on a global scale to industrial challenges and defense, competitiveness and sustainability issues. And we endeavor to provide a better understanding of the seas and oceans as the real lungs of the planet and to ensure their sustainable use.
The humanities and social sciences have a special place in our courses. They aim to provide keys for questioning and understanding the world, for stepping back and taking action in the face of complexity, all of which are essential skills for understanding the major challenges facing our societies.
