The Specialized Advanced Master® in Port and Maritime Systems Cybersecurity kicks-off : a first in Europe !

Courses
Information and Communication Sciences and Technologies
On Monday 28 September 2020, this new training course, led by IMT Atlantique, École Navale, ENSTA Bretagne, and École Nationale Supérieure Maritime (ENSM) hosted its first students: a mix of professionals resuming their studies and young graduates wishing to complete their initial diplomas.

The Specialized Advanced Master® in Port and Maritime Systems Cybersecurity is in response to a strong need on the part of companies and maritime stakeholders. The performance vector of digitization has increased the exposure of the maritime world to attack: port paralysis, attempts at unauthorized access or modification of a ship’s capacities, which can have major financial, human, technological and environmental consequences.

To counter current attacks and detect future threats, four graduate engineering schools IMT Atlantique, ENSTA Bretagne, École Navale  and ENSM have devised the Specialized Advanced Master® in Port and Maritime Systems Cybersecurity.

The Specialized Advanced Master® aims to cover all the risks that could affect ports, and vessels : military vessels, containers, ferries, yachts, fishing vessels, cargo ships, cruise ships and passenger boats, leisure craft and all types of off-shore platforms.
The courses will be taught on campus at Brest and Le Havre, by lecturers and professionals who are experts in cybersecurity and the port and maritime sector, thanks to the strong complementation of the four schools which are delivering this unique training.

This training offers expertise which is unique in Europe !

Certified by the Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique and endorsed by many stakeholders in the cyber and maritime worlds, this high level training has received the accreditation of the Conférence des Grandes Ecoles (CGE).
