The Brest academic delegation have succeeded in signing a cooperation agreement within the framework of the Jeanne d’Arc mission to Chennai (Madras). This will strengthen student and lecturer exchanges between the IIT Madras and the following Breton establishments: ENSTA Bretagne, UBO, ENIB, BBS, Ecole Navale (for the Mondial de la Mer campus) and UBS.

Information on the Jeanne d’Arc mission

The Jeanne d’Arc mission is a group mission coordinated by Brest Métropole (the City of Brest), with the support of the Marine Nationale (French Navy) and the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCIMBO) for economic affairs and the Brest Technology Cluster – the Technopôle Brest Iroise – for academic and scientific affairs.  

For ENSTA Bretagne, the director Pascal Pinot and the lecturer in charge of the Information and Communication Science and Technology department  Arnaud Coatanhay, went to Chennai as part of the academic, economic and institutional establishments delegation. The objective was to find future Indian partners in the digital and marine science field.
