Message from Jean-Georges Malcor, President of the Board of Governors

2020 was a challenging year on so many levels, upending as it has a whole raft of personal, economic and social models and convictions. No one has been left unaffected by these often significant question marks raised.

But as I am an optimist and have faith in the future, I believe that this year was not without its successes, and that the health crisis (with all of its consequences, including the economic fallout) has also provided an opportunity to take a step back, to think, to adapt and to adopt a longer-term perspective, so as to better plan for the future.

As far as the School is concerned, I won’t go back over what your Director has said – other than to once again thank all of the teams, without exception, for all the hard work, often accomplished under difficult circumstances. You can feel proud of what has been achieved, and I should like to tell you what an honor it is for me to preside over the School’s Board of Governors. I will be behind all of you so that, together, the School can continue to uphold its standards of excellence.

Let us hope that 2021 begins under more clement skies health-wise and that life – especially your life as students, with all of the exciting and rewarding opportunities it brings – can pick up fully once again.

I should thus like to extend to you and your loved ones my very best wishes for health, happiness and success.

Kind regards,
JG Malcor.
