After training as an engineer and completing a thesis at ENSTA Bretagne, Guillaume started a career in the automotive industry before joining the liquefied natural gas industry for some fifteen years. He’s now in charge of a research group dedicated to materials at Air Liquide, where he contributes to the development of new technologies and helps customers in their decarbonization efforts. He’s very committed to his role as manager, and talks in this video about his projects, as well as his studies at ENSTA Bretagne.

Chloé chose to specialize in "Advanced Modeling of Materials and Structures" in order to combine her professional life as an engineer with her passion for sports. After her end-of-study internship with Decathlon working on bicycle tires, she decided to join a company in Grenoble as a calculation engineer for cooling systems in the nuclear industry. A geographical location that allows her to practice her favorite sport: skiing.

Mathilde is a PhD student in mechanical sciences at ENSTA Bretagne / IRDL (Naval Group CIFRE* thesis). Her thesis aims to contribute to the development of new sizing methods for a new generation of marine propellers produced using arc-wire 3D printing.

In his thesis, Pierre-Yves seeks to identify when and how a fracture appears between two very different materials: a metal and an elastomer, such as rubber. With his research’s direct application being tires, Pierre-Yves performs experiments on representative samples of vehicle tires to study interface failures between the rigid part (the cord or structure) of the tire and the flexible part (rubber).

After a three-year course preparing for the graduate school entrance exam, Anthony entered ENSTA Bretagne. Here he discovered the world of materials (Advanced Modeling of Materials and Structures course), a universe he is fascinated in and in which he has chosen to pursue a PhD.

After a 4-year higher education course in mechanical engineering completed in Argentina, Carola enrolled at ENSTA Bretagne in the fall of 2021. She took a double degree in "Advanced modeling of materials and structures" and a Research Master giving her a broader range of career opportunities.

Augustin is currently on internship at Airbus. A fan of aeronautics, he chose the “Modeling of Structures and Materials specialization at ENSTA Bretagne, then did his last year at ISAE Supaéro thanks to an agreement between the two schools.
