Montaine
Naval Architect
Kimberly
Deputy Technical Architect for the aircraft carrier
Trained as an Armament Research and Technology Engineer (IETA), Kimberly is currently working on the Charles de Gaulle aircraft carrier, more specifically on its nuclear boiler room and platform.
Dorianne, diplômée en architecture navale
Doriane
Head of the Propulsion, Calculations and Measurements team
Having graduated from ENSTA Bretagne with a specialization in naval architecture, Doriane is currently in charge of a team responsible for supporting customers in the naval sector in the design, sizing and installation of ship propulsion systems, as well as the acoustic and vibration aspects of on-board comfort (predictive calculations and on-board measurements). While studying at ENSTA Bretagne, she was actively involved in student activities as President of the Student Union: a commitment she now strongly recommends to all engineering students.
ENSTA Bretagne : portrait de Pauline, architecte naval et skippeuse
Pauline
Naval architect engineer and skipper
A keen sailing enthusiast, Pauline enrolled at ENSTA Bretagne for its close ties with the maritime world and its naval architecture course. “If I hadn’t got into ENSTA Bretagne, I really don’t know what I would have done. It really was my first, and only, choice.” Today, she is working in the field of wind-powered maritime transport and its decarbonization, while personally preparing for a solo offshore sailing race: the Mini-Transat.

ENSTA Bretagne : Portrait Morgan - Ingénieur R&D
Morgan
R&D engineer
Morgan’s ambition was to combine his interest in commercial vessels with the environmental challenges. He has achieved his goal, since he is now working on optimizing the carbon footprint of a global maritime carrier’s fleet. He tells us more about his studies and his job today.
ENSTA Bretagne : Loughlin cérémonie du Palmarès
Loughlin
Naval architect
It was while following the America's Cup which took place in Bermuda in 2017 that Loughlin first realized that he could turn his keen interest in sailing into a job! After his course preparing for the graduate school entrance exam, he joined ENSTA Bretagne with the aim of becoming a naval architect.
