As January draws to a close, L'Étudiant has just published its 2025 ranking of engineering schools. It confirms ENSTA Paris' 2nd place and brings ENSTA Bretagne into the top 20 (up 2 places from the 2024 ranking).
This edition is based on 2024 data provided before the merger of the two schools as of January 1, 2025. It places particular emphasis on doctorates, a key criterion of academic excellence.
In this year of transition, it is important to note that the admissions process will remain the same for the start of the 2025 academic year. The training courses and diplomas obtained remain distinct for this admission.
At the same time, the merged ENSTA is preparing to expand its course offerings (a new single general engineering degree and several specialized engineering degrees) for the start of the 2026 academic year.
Finally, we would like to highlight the excellent overall performance of the Institut Polytechnique de Paris, several of whose institute feature in the top 10 of this ranking.
