Pascal Pinot appointed director of ENSTA Bretagne

ENSTA Bretagne
As a former student (graduated in 1990), he knows the Brest graduate engineering school well having been closely linked to its development projects since 2013, during his time in charge of the 4 prestigious engineering schools under the authority of the Ministry of Armed Forces: the Ecole Polytechnique, ENSTA Bretagne, ENSTA Paristech and ISAE-SUPAERO.

He succeeds Patrick Puyhabilier, and aims to meet the objectives defined in the 2017-2021 Contract of Objectives and Performance, including the strategic partnership with IMT Atlantique Bretagne-Pays de la Loire in particular.

After his engineering studies at ENSTA Bretagne, then at SupOptique, Pascal Pinot joined the DGA Missile Technology Center in 1992 as a study engineer in electro-optical missile guidance.
In Paris from 1997 to 2001, Pascal Pinot focused on cruise missile programs.
In 2001, he joined the DGA Center of Expertise in information warfare at Bruz and became its deputy director in 2002.
In 2005, working as Assistant Arms Cooperation Attache at the French Embassy in Washington, he revitalized transatlantic relations in numerous areas, such as protection of the armed forces or tactical missiles.
From 2009 to 2013, he ran the DGA Center for Missile Testing at Biscarrosse.
From November 2013 he was in charge of graduate engineering schools under the authority of the Ministry of Armed Forces as part of the Human Resources management team at the Direction Générale de l’Armement (DGA) (French Procurement Agency).
