What is a platform ?
A platform should (in principle) satisfy the following requirements.
- It should illustrate an original concept developed in the Robex Team.
- It should be associated to some publications (international journals or conférences).
- A video presenting the platform exists.
- It should be operational within a week.
- A dedicated website exists.
- A decicated indoor space for the platform exists, with cupboards, shelves, computers, etc.
- A permanent engineer/researcher/researcher/phd student of one of the institutes of Lab-STICC is the platmaster (manager of the platform).
- Any student working on the platform is co-supervised by the platmaster.
- The platmaster should be able to make the platform working alone.
- The platmaster should be able to present the platform to different types of audiences.
Ulysse
Le drone Ulysse est un catamaran autonome de 2,8m de long pour 1,5m de large.
Ses dimensions sont adaptées à la navigation en rade de Brest.
Son mode de propulsion est électrique (batteries Li-Po) et lui assure une autonomie de 4h.
Il a été construit par la société Texys Marine (désormais IMSolutions) et connaît aujourd'hui une seconde vie à l'ENSTA Bretagne,
qui travaille à son automatisation.
L'ENSTA Bretagne a intégré du matériel hydrographique performant sur le catamaran (sondeur acoustique multifaisceau, centrale inertielle, ...).
Cette instrumentation lui permet de cartographier en haute résolution les fonds marins.
Cette plateforme est également utilisée par les étudiants en robotique et en hydrographie de l'ENSTA Bretagne
lors du projet pédagogique Guerlédan.
